My Project
Our students and their families have sought out and selected our school to provide an enriching educational environment for their children. Our emergent curriculum and integrated units of study provide multiple entry points for learning to meet the varied learning needs of all students. Through this work, students learn how to learn.
Our second- and- third- grade students love learning about new topics and discussing current events.
Adding the Time for Kids magazines into our classroom means that children will have engaging non-fiction content at their fingertips. The magazines will enhance our conversations around current events as well as spark children's curiosity about the world around them.
Not only will the Time for Kids magazine get more nonfiction text into our students' hands, but it will also create opportunities to become stronger nonfiction readers. The digital edition will be a great resource to use for shared reading activities. Children can even listen to the articles read aloud to them.
By adding this classroom magazine to the rich literature choices children already have, you will help nurture and deepen our student's love for reading and learning in two classrooms.
