Curl Up On The Library Couches And Read!

Help me give my students a story time area because we recently removed an old computer lab and are thrilled to have a spot for cozy lessons and thrilling read-alouds-- please help us finish the area with new couches!

My Project

We have the books! We have the space! We have the kids hungry for great stories! When our old dusty computer lab finally got carted away, we had the opportunity to transform our library and make room for small groups, collaborative learning, and a new story time area.

Help us make our library more cozy with the addition of two new couches to curl up and read!

These new couches will provide flexible seating for students and staff alike. We will have a special spot to use to gather and share, or to withdraw and climb into a book.

Please help us make our school library a special place that all students look forward to visiting. Our 1,000+ students from preschool to fifth grade love to read and explore their world through books. Our diverse student body represents the whole world--more of our families originate from outside the United States than within. We work hard to ensure that they are all represented in the books in our library. Having a special space to crack open books and dive into new worlds helps to build their understanding of others and themselves.
