Help me give my students the materials to develop the pre-literacy skills needed to enter kindergarten!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Gordon's classroom raised $542
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of hands on storytelling materials will help my students with sequencing and retelling stories. These materials will be used during whole group time and then added to our Library Center for the children to use for retelling the stories.
The Alphabet Puzzles.
and Beginning Sounds Phonemic Awareness Activity will reinforce our lessons on letters and letter sounds. These activities will be added to our centers for the children to explore during Center Time.
The Rhyming Sounds Activity will be a fun hands-on activity for my students to participate in and learn about rhyming. This activity will be used during small groups and placed in a learning center during center time.
These materials are visuals to help my students, especially my Special Education and English Language students. They will help them understand vocabulary related to rhyming and words that begin with letter sounds.
