My Project
I am requesting brine shrimp and isopods to be used in studying the variety of effects environment can have on the structures and functions of animals. As the students learn about the structures, functions and environment, they will ask questions and set up experiments around those questions.
Living in Utah we have experience with brine shrimp.
With our changing environment we can relate what we see happening in the Great Salt Lake with experiments and readings within our classroom bridging the real world to our classroom.
We also have a great deal of online support with our science curriculum FOSS but they need headphones to listen to videos and readings. I will be using the headphones so the children can access the online curriculum specifically my children with special needs: reading needs and second language needs.
