My Project
When we study ancient civilizations, one of the favorite activities the students like to participate is when we create cuneiform tablets from the clay. They transfer the knowledge that was taught to them about the Ancient Sumerian cuneiform alphabet by creating their own tablet with their name written in cuneiform.
With the help of DonorsChoose, we can make this activity come true by providing the students with the clay, styluses, and other supplies they need.
The best part of the activity is when they kids take their work home to share it with their parents. They can proudly say, "I did this in school today".
