This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am teaching the students to become global citizens by helping them learn about culture and geography around the globe. We will be "visiting" numerous continents and counrties around the globe and learning about their geogrpahy, culture, government, and the people that inhabit the land.

My students have intellectual disabilities and learn best through a variety of hands on projects that include a lot of visuals.

These students work very hard and are interested in the world around them. They will greatly appreciate any materials they can use. Thank you!
