Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Teaching at my school means students from different backgrounds come together and get to learn in a space that feels welcoming. I want them to explore learning more about themselves, their culture, and other cultures.
The play people of varying cultural backgrounds, different abilities, and community members can make my students appreciate through play that we may be different but are also the same.
The matching game of the children around the world would be fun to see what other children look like as well as develop memory skills through matching.
With these and the rest of the materials in my project, I would like to also receive two orange bins for organization yet simple access for my students. In our school, "social studies" is orange.
