Help me give my students paint, watercolor paper, pastels, colored pencils, and clay so that they can artistically express their cultural identities.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Misty's classroom raised $1,138

My Project
I have 80 amazing 2nd and 3rd grade English learners from The Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Philippines, China, Japan, Mexico, Honduras, and EL Salvador and the pendemic was particularly difficult on them. Many students haven't been to school before now. During our Cultural Voyagers classes the students learn about their culture heritage and it is my interest that they express themselves through art as well as listening, speaking, reading and writing. These art supplies could make that happen as art also supports social emotional healing.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
