Help me give my students some Hummingbird kits for a creative coding and robotics experience!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Tong's classroom raised $904
This project is fully funded
My Project
Our 3rd through 5th grade students have had several opportunities to join Codejoy.org's student sessions to program their unique robots (Elby, Matt, & others). They have developed a love for creativity in computer science through this online coding experience. Many of these robots are built using the Hummingbird microcontrollers.
The Hummingbird Kits aren't standard builds to create the same end product, but instead will allow students to incorporate their own culture, interests, and hobbies into their robot design.
Students will learn how to use lights, motors, and sensors along with cardboard and a variety of everyday materials to create unique robots that can sense, think, and act.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
