This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Pre-K 3 students are full of excitement, enthusiasm and energy! Each one of my students is different and yet they have a lot in common with each other. They all have their unique, individual personalities and at the same time enjoy each other's company while they learn together through play.

My students are determined to learn everything, grow as individuals, and explore the wonderful world around them.

No matter how energetic they are, they are always ready to learn new things and become extremely proud when they are able to reach or accomplish a goal! No matter how difficult something may seem, they always persevere!

My Project

The Outdoor Cozy Cabana will provide our PreK and kindergarten students with a comfortable and safe place to learn outdoors. Our students are 3, 4, and 5 year olds who learn through hands on activities and visuals. Each class takes turns going outdoors to our recess area where they get to learn and grow daily. Having this cabana will help them learn about science while they experience it in person.

The Outdoor Cozy Cabana will help our students explore, engage, investigate and experience the outdoors in a new and exciting way!

It will also provide them with the opportunity to interact with nature and teach them about the beautiful world we live in as well as cultivate their love for our planet and the desire to take care of it. Our students grow up with the dream of becoming scientists and the Outdoor Cozy Cabana is going to bring them closer to making their dreams come true.
