My Project

Greetings,

Thank you for clicking on my class project.

I wanted to add new, fun, and engaging hands-on centers to cultivate creativity while learning.

My Pre-K students learn best through multi-sensory hands-on activities that keep their minds active while having fun. Using these Legos, blocks, and other manipulatives will help my young scholars to concretize abstract concepts about family, community, and the ways in which it is possible for them to interact. The building materials will help my students explore and create communities around the world as well as help to illustrate what they have learned, expand on them in engaging projects, and stay motivated throughout the year. Further, research suggests utilizing manipulatives makes abstract learning more concrete, and more visual, and helps to build student confidence.
