This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At Solar Prep for Boys, we are committed to developing the leadership skills of every boy we serve. We pride ourselves in tapping into every scholars' talents to help him thrive in school and life. We do this within an active learning environment that supports how boys learn best -- hands on and actively! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase our boys' attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement!

Our boys enjoy to have classroom discussions; however, some scholars are nervous or too shy to speak in front of a group.

This Qball would get our boys excited and engaged, while participating during our discussions. The Qball would add scholar excitement to learning, while allowing all BOYS to express themselves while learning! Toss the Qball and talk!

I plan to use this tool to amplify our BOYS ideas by making sure they can easily be heard within the classroom. I plan to use this during morning meeting, Project Based Learning, and during a variety of lessons to increase engagement and show OUR boys that their voices matter!
