Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to culminate this school year by having students create a video for incoming students next school year.

I want my 4th-grade students to share a subject matter and explain to incoming 4th-grade students why this subject was important to them.

They learned about volcanoes, various regions in California, Native Americans of California, and the Gold Rush era. I want my students to record themselves in front of a green screen. I hope to have them present in front of an image of volcanoes, or a San Francisco mountain.

I also want them to express why classroom expectations are essential for academic success. I can not wait to share their recordings.

This year, I had a combination classroom. It would not have been a success without the incorporation of technology. I want to culminate the school year with more exposure to technological resources and how they are an intricate part of knowledge gain.
