Culinary Diversity Through Reading

Help me give my students a look at the lives of some Chefs who have either been huge part of creating culinary cuisine, or are coming from diversity and creating a pathway for where you can go.

My Project

I teach in a very diverse high school, and I want to show my students that no matter what your background, you can create something amazing. The books that I have chosen show how chefs new and old have shown how to bring their culture into what our culinary journey has become.

These books will help show diversity, and how to overcome stereotypes in order to help them grow into the young chefs they can be.

I want my students to know they can follow their dreams to make changes in this world no matter their cultural or economic background. They can be the next role models in the Culinary world.
