it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach high school culinary arts in the Bronx. We have an amazing program that helps kids really gauge their interests before applying to to jobs after high school. For those interested in the food service industry, my program helps them find their way.
Culinary arts is an amazing class that truly differs from all of my students other classes, yet incorporates key topics throughout.
My students come from a diverse backgrounds and this class really helps all of those backgrounds shine- through food!
My Project
We need basic supplies like paper towels, paper towel holders, and a hand mixer. These supplies will truly help us get through the school year and allow our stations in the classroom to function. Having access to these materials allows us to bake and clean up our messes! It will also help keep our stations much more organized.
