My Students

TCHS is where I will teach this year. It is my first year there so I have not been able to meet any of my students yet. School starts Sept 3, 2020. I am nervous about starting at a new school during this time of transition and chaos, but when I meet my students, I know they will be amazing.

I am joining Donors Choose because I believe, no matter if I know the students or not, they all deserve to have the right tools and materials needed to learn in the classroom.

I teach culinary arts for high school students. It is my dream job, I couldn't ask for anything better then waking up and looking forward to "work". I find it fun, challenging and most of all rewarding. Even though I have not met these students yet, I love each and everyone of them. They are going to be the ones who fill the holes in my heart and inspire me to be a good teacher.

I will write more once school starts and I meet my students.

My Project

Most of the material will be used for classroom work. I want to decorate the room to feel inviting and warm. I want the student to feel comfortable coming into my room and kitchen. I also would like to get supplies for my students who may not have enough at home to cook with, etc. I want to provide for my students so they know someone cares for them and wants them to successful.

Most of these students want to be in the culinary industry and just need the right training and tools to make that happen.

Please consider my students for these items. It is not for me, its for them!!!
