This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of unique students who are excited to learn every day! Many of my students are English language learners and have limited exposure to English at home, so as their teacher it is a privilege to enrich their learning as much as possible. Many of my students come from low-income families, therefore the supplies and resources that they have access to are limited.

As a teacher, it is my responsibility to make sure that my students get both a character education plus a rich instructional education. Our school is a place that embraces all students for who they are and tries to give them opportunities that they normally would not have.

My Project

I am requesting a Cur robot starter pack. STEM is a huge part of growing students' critical thinking skills and these CUE robots are just want my students need to do that. COVID has changed so much of how we teach and interact with the students but with these CUE robots the students can write code right from their desks! These robots can also be used if the students have to go fully remote again due to the pandemic. They will be able to create codes and program the robots directly from their homes!

STEM and robotics help students engage with each other and helps make learning fun.

These robots will help my students grow into 21st century thinkers and be ready to complete in the future.
