This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These chairs are essential in any special education classroom. Students with autism benefit from sitting in enclosed spaces due to their sensory processing. These chairs allow students to be part of the class while on the carpet while feeling safe and protected. The goal of this project is to provide my students who have autism with a comforting learning environment. I agree that these cube chairs help meet the diverse learning needs of my students. The students in my class are special because they are an inclusive class that is made up of children with disabilities and typically developing children.
