My Project
I am a dedicated teacher of a mild/moderate special day preschool class, where all of my students have disabilities that require unique and thoughtful approaches to learning. Each day, I strive to create an environment where my students can thrive, feel safe, and be excited about their learning journey.
I'm requesting cube chairs to help my students calm their bodies and focus during rug time, which is a critical part of our day.
When students are seated comfortably and securely, they are better able to engage with the lessons, participate in activities, and absorb the material being taught.
My goal with this project is to enhance my students' learning experience by giving them the tools they need to succeed. The alternative seating will provide the sensory input and physical stability that many of my students require to regulate their bodies and minds. By reducing distractions and increasing comfort, these chairs will help my students focus on developing important skills such as communication, social interaction, and early academic concepts.
Despite their challenges, my students come to school with enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn. They inspire me daily with their resilience and creativity. Your support will give them the seating they need to feel secure, focused, and ready to thrive. Thank you for helping make a difference in their lives.
