it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Pre-K students represent diverse backgrounds, experiences, risk factors, and reflect a wide range of special needs. They are tiny learners ages four and five, that love reading, investigating, exploring, creating and most of all learning!
They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners.
They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding artists, engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, mathematicians, teachers... They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful careers!
My Project
When my students enter the classroom, their first morning routine is to unpack. Students are expected to hang up their jackets/coats and backpacks in their individual cubbies. My young 3 & 4 year old students will try their best to keep their belongings in their cubbies but all too often they fall onto the floor. Your donation will supply our classroom with cubby trays which will house students clothing and daily necessities in their cubby. The cubby trays will be labeled with each child's name and will keep each student's clothing and necessities in one easy to use place.
Your donation will help keep our classroom cubby area clean, tidy, and prevent germs from spreading on children's belongings when we return back to school!
Your donation will also provide student's with small plastic individual containers to reduce the spread of germs. These containers will keep their individual items such as pencils, crayons, counters, dice etc. in one clean and dry container. Please support this project so that we can help create a clean and healthy environment for our students when they return back to school this fall.
