Help me give my students organizational skills to help them be independent and responsible learners.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Stewart's classroom raised $490

My Students
I teach at an IB K-8 magnet school with creative, open-minded, motivated Kindergarten students that need an organized way of working in order to be successful in our classroom.
Students are coming in to our school from all different experiences and backgrounds.
With that said, some students have not been exposed to any organizational skills especially in a classroom setting. We are trying to develop independent and responsible learners. Organizational skills will help them to be successful today and for the rest of their lives.
My Project
My students are in need of cubbies to help them with their organizational skills. We are promoting independence and responsibility within the classroom. By having the cubbies, students will be able to access supplies such as headphones, binders, folders, and any other activities needed to help them complete independent work. This will also help cut down on transition time as students will have a one-stop shop for all items and less time looking for items that are needed. This also gives the students responsibility to keep up with their own supplies and materials. We are building future leaders of tomorrow!
