Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The kindergarten and first-grade students in my special day class deserve a safe, clutter-free classroom. These storage cubbies can help my students thanks to the level of access and organization they provide.
The items in this project are accessible to all students in my classroom; with the use of visuals and routines, students can learn how to care for their learning space.
The cubbies are a great place to store student materials, hands-on manipulatives, imitation play items, and cause-and-effect toys. Students will learn to take care of their classroom area by picking up materials and putting them away, independently.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
