Help me give my students sturdy, accessible individual cubbies to hold their supplies
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Huck's classroom raised $1,342

My Project
I'm asking for a storage shelf and containers for my classroom. Currently I don't have anything for students to store personal supplies in. We are currently using community supplies located in the center of the tables.
Some students don't have much to call their own.
By providing this supply cabinet and storage bins, you're giving them some space that is theirs. You're also giving them an opportunity to learn responsibilities for their own items - like putting the caps back on their markers or glue sticks, not breaking their crayons, etc.
Finally, by switching to personal supplies we will help slow the spread of germs. I've witnessed many students put markers in their mouths, fingers up their noses and in their mouths. Of course we have them stop and wash their hands when we catch it, but what about the times we don't?
