CSI: Middle School (Investigations in Forensic Science )
Help me give my students the opportunity to enhance their learning through the use of real world science in my Tier II science enrichment "What I Need" classes.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hands-on science learning has been impacted greatly by the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past two years my students have had no opportunities to complete hands-on, interactive science activities due to the lack of funding to provide materials to individuals or small groups and the lack of safety in sharing in person materials and the constraints of virtual learning. These materials will provide my students with needed hands-on science interaction that will allow them to feel the joy of doing science as well as the chance to work cooperatively with others.
