Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Teaching mathematics to 140 students on a daily basis brings on different perspective, ideas, and learning opportunities. For this reason, I want to gain research base knowledge to learn ways I can better support my students on a daily basis. My goal is to challenge, encourage, and spark learning every day in math class. My students are eager to learn and with the right tools, I know they will reach confidence in learning again.
The resources from this project will support my students learning using some of the best research based strategies and rationals out there, additionally a workable document camera to project step by step math thinning.
My students love coming up to the board and teaching each other. However. our current math document camera has seen better days.
