My Project

This will be my sixth year working at GLA. This year I have the pleasure of teaching the group of students that I taught when they were in kindetgarten. With this new adventure and excitement, new materials are needed.

For this DonorsChoose, I have selected items that will not only encourage leaisure reading among my students, but will prepare them for a fantacstic year of achievements.

A shelf is a house for books, which is why there is a shelf in the cart. Our current bookshelf is too small to house the books we currently have in the classroom along with the books we will continue to accumulate throughout the year. The posters and chairs will be used to decorate our class reading corner to make for a cozy reading excperience.The books purchased will be added to the shelf in our reading corner. The laminating pouches, colored pencils, and other supplies will be used daily by students and teacher to complete tasks.

We are looking forward to another great year and are appreciative of any and every single donation received for this project.
