Our students are in need of some snacks to assist them with some additional nutrition throughout the day. Although they are approaching adult age, they still only receive a child's size lunch. Our students often need additional food throughout the day to sustain them until they get home.
Students absolutely cannot learn when they are distracted by hunger.
It is vital that we fill this need. We have a snack closet within the classroom to help our students in this regard. We try to stock our food pantry with healthier options that will offer sustenance as well as nutrients. We are requesting options such as pop tarts, noodles, chips, water, and juice.
