My students need new monitors to use with our new Raspberry Pi computers.

My Students
I'm a physical education teacher at a Title 1 elementary school in NYC, with 77% of our students receiving free or reduced fee lunch.
Many of our students face large challenges but come to school with lots of energy, energy we need to help them direct into healthy physical activity.
I want to give them the skills and understanding they deserve to live a healthy life style, while giving them an outlet to get the exercise needed to focus their minds in the classroom.
Active kids learn better. They perform better on tests, get better grades, attend school more often, and behave better in class.
My Project
This is a follow up to a very successful project to bring Raspberry Pi computers to one of the second grade classes in my school. We're currently using a collection of mismatch LCD's from my fellow teachers home's and the school's old CRT monitors.
Our students deserve better and this will help them learn more about computers and programing.
This project will increase my students already high levels of enthusiasm for the new computers. It will also help to highlight the effect modern computers are having in this classroom. Most importantly, it will help give my students the experience, skills, and confidence needed to help them to succeed in the modern world.
