My Project

Books and daily read alouds are essential in the classroom because they build language, comprehension, and a lifelong love of reading. Through shared stories, students expand vocabulary, strengthen listening skills, and learn how stories work.

Read alouds create meaningful discussions, model fluent reading, and expose students to diverse perspectives and experiences.

Books support social emotional learning, imagination, and critical thinking while helping children make connections to the world around them. Regular reading time fosters curiosity, focus, and empathy. When classrooms are filled with books, students feel inspired, engaged, and motivated to explore ideas, ask questions, and grow as confident readers.
