Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting headphones with microphones for each of my students. Since Covid-19 the students have not been allowed to share supplies and providing them with headphones will help each student have their own pair. My students will use the headphones every day because I find it also helps cancel out the noise around them, which improves focus. The headphones with microphone will help my students record themselves speaking as well. For instance, they will use the headphones with microphone to record themselves during reading and I will be able to playback the recording and rate their reading fluency.
