My Project
Students today need to develop essential critical thinking skills. By utilizing anchor charts and learning maps, my students will be able to collaboratively attain such skills. In my history classes, specifically, there are nearly endless important developments and processes that the students need to know to be successful. These evidence-based strategies have been proven to be effective at helping students retain key vocabulary, concepts, and context than simply just taking basic notes. The use of varying color coding and signifiers will also help the students to organize their thoughts and arguments.
