My Project
This project is intended for my gifted students taking high school level courses in middle school. I teach in a small community that, like most other communities across the nation, was affected by COVID-19. My students still face barriers in math with learning gaps, and it is our goal that we can strengthen their critical thinking and problem solving strategies as well as their team-building skills through the use of the TI Innovator Rover, STEM activities, and engineering tasks. We will be using the TI Innovator Rovers and graphing calculators in conjunction with Algebra and Geometry lessons as well as a supplemental tool focusing on finding solutions to problems within the community.
