it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My in person students arrive to school with lots of smiles and enthusiasm. They yearn to share their ideas. They are loving, intelligent, and eager to learn every day. As an educator, I strive to keep this eagerness "alive" well beyond the time with me.
My classroom is a preschool inclusive classroom where students with special needs attend school with their general education peers.
The general education teacher and I implement lessons that are appropriate for all students.
My Project
Many of our young students have spent numerous hours using technology to attend school this year. Unfortunately, this has resulted in decrease fine motor development and the ability to learn through play and creativity! Help me provide new and exciting manipulative bins during center time. These STEM materials will help our in person learners discover through play, improve their hand eye coordination, build their creativity and improve their problem solving skills. As students learn and discover through trial and error, they learn to persevere and never give up.
During free play, students choose their center and these new manipulative will strengthen their fine mothers, problem solving skills, and critical thinking abilities.
