My Students

My students are a group of about twenty kindergarteners.

They are around five to six years old. They go to a title one school in a small town. They are fun and eager to learn. My school is an awesome school to be a part of. It is very welcoming to others and has a great atmosphere.

My Project

My students need a classroom rug to sit on when they are sitting in our meeting area. My students use this area during our morning meetings, the beginning of our math and reading lessons, and when using the Smart Board. We use the Smart Board frequently throughout the day. We do not have any carpet in our room. The floor can start to feel hard and uncomfortable.

This project will provide each child with a cozy place to be able to enjoy and learn while sitting on the ground in our meeting area.

Having a comfy place to sit will help them be able to focus better and learn more!
