Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have the unique ability to learn new culinary skills through my classes. However, the water that runs through our sinks does not always come out clear and clean.
Clean water is a must as we are trying to learn new cooking skills and cleaning skills!
Not only is a water source used during and after cooking, I frequently have students who ask for drinking water. Hydration is so important but I would feel more comfortable giving students access to my sinks if they had a purifier installed on them. These purifiers and their refills will be utilized every single day!
