My Project
I am a kindergarten teacher proud to work with some awesome kiddos at a Title I School! All students are unique and deserve access to high-quality educational resources and materials.
I will utilize the Cricut Maker to design personalized, homemade rewards, incentives, manipulatives, and hands-on center-time resources; the Cricut would take care of the laborious task of cutting complicated shapes that will be used for student's art projects, bulletin boards, and even classroom labels.
I have spent many late nights and weekends prepping/cutting construction paper of all different shapes, sizes, and colors and sorting through tons of scraps. Cutting and tracing these things by hand is very time-consuming. The Cricut Maker would do all of the cutting for me in a much more uniform way and would save me tons of time that could be better spent planning lessons for my students.
The Cricut Maker will allow me to give students an opportunity to complete content area projects that show their learning in a fun, hands-on, and creative way. With the Cricut Maker, the possibilities are endless. From classroom decor to labeling bins to organizing our classroom supplies to endless projects, there are many uses for this Cricut in my classroom. Having a Cricut machine will allow me to organize our classroom and student materials in a much more efficient manner.
