Cricut for Product Design for 8th Grade Art Students
Help me give my students start learning about product design while designing their own logos in Adobe illustrator. Continue to grow our art department in connection with STEAM and technology.
In 8th grade, our students in art class are exploring product design and logos. In their special 8th grade art course, students start by creating a logo via sketch then applying that sketch into illustrator/photo shop. Students will then print their designs via Cricut using the tools in this promotion. They can use the iron on vinyl or sticker to apply to the product or apparel.
This project is helping our students apply art to real life professions such as graphic design along with other STEM opportunities.
Having the Cricut in our art room will be benefit many of our 8th grade students to get them excited about using technology in art.
