My Students

Students in the middle schools in my town are excited to learn! The teachers in the buildings often develop exciting activities to engage students in real-world learning.

Our students are artists, athletes, scholars, and dreamers.

Our school offers various afterschool activities and in-school enrichment activities which provide our students with opportunities to explore their individual interests. We have thriving theater and robotics programs as well as various intermural athletic programs. During the school day, they are enrolled in music, drama, art, wand Industrial Arts classes. Students' creativity is encouraged and enhanced through their access to these activities and courses.

My Project

In Mr. Alagrin's industrial arts class, classroom creativity is at the forefront of everything we do. Students (children) are undoubtedly the most creative beings. He's been dumbfounded by how creativity can influence a project, and make it inspirational. One of our biggest ways to express this creativity has been artistically through paint. We've begun to explore what's possible with stencils, sponges, brushes, and rollers. It has brought us to the point where we would like to combine our creativity with larger design concepts. We want the ability to make repetitive, consistent, and beautiful artistic expressions in our projects. The "Cricut" which we'd like to obtain would allow us to not only expand the quality of our inspirational images, but it would also allow us to expand our brainstorming/design capabilities. This is something that could be used across all of our projects, and help us better serve our school community. Please consider supporting our students, our program, and our community.
