My students need a way to bring their designs to life! The Cricut will help them create engaging presentations and engineer pieces to develop their STEM projects.
My twenty eight students come from many different backgrounds and very different home lives. They love to work together in teams to create and complete activities in class. Their differences allow them to bring many levels of background knowledge to their work. This year I have an intelligent, friendly, and curious group of kids. In addition to working together, they enjoy hands-on activities more than anything else! This is one way I try to keep them constantly engaged in class.
My Project
Throughout the year I have my students work on several STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) projects. This helps them develop their questioning skills and their ability to collaborate with each other. My class loves working on STEAM activities and my class parents love coming in to see their child's hard work.
With the Cricut, my students can turn their STEAM designs into real life creations!
STEAM activities already help students synthesize the content they are learning and the processes behind it. Giving them the ability to transform their learning into real-life objects can deepen this understanding and help them create life-long memories!
