This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have risen from many obstacles in life to get to this point. They are still trying to recover from Hurricane Harvey. They are in a place where they are striving to do what is right, despite the constant pulls in the opposite direction. These student are eager to find personal successes and share them with those around them.

These students, this school year, have shown an appreciation for the journey they have taken with their eyes on literature.

My Project

My students always need ways to motivate themselves. With more resources at their fingertips, they are more likely to be creative. The Cricut will allow them to personalize their projects in ways they hadn't imagined. It will also allow my differently-abled students to feel more confident in their products. The vinyls and different cuts that the Cricut can provide will spark the creative juices within the scholars to go above and beyond in their projects. The passion for learning is dwindling in my area, so thinking outside the box is a must for motivation. Thank you for your amazing kindness.
