This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school serves a middle to low-income neighborhood in New York. I work with special education students in a self-contained or general education classroom who come from many diverse backgrounds. My students are lively, talkative, and eager to do well in school. My students put first things first, and recognize the importance of a good education to help them succeed in life. I want them to have every opportunity to excel in the classroom so that they can reach their full potential. With the right materials, there is nothing they can't accomplish!

My Project

One thing all elementary level students have in common is that they are elated when their creations come to life. We try keeping things exciting by allowing the students' creativity to flow. The amazing thing about the Cricut machine is that it be used across all areas of learning.

Students can make ANY project or assignment come alive with the use of a Cricut machine!

Having access to this machine will easily allow students to integrate technology into all subjects. Interactive bulletin boards, school-wide displays and hands-on learning experiences for my class are just of the few of the many benefits this machine will bring.

Thus, the possibilities with adding a Cricut to our classroom are endless!
