This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is my 6th year teaching second grade. This is a year where the students are becoming very independent but still need that safety net. My students come to my classroom every day excited to learn! They are eager to do well and are always on their A-Game, these children deserve every resource and help they can get to help them excel in their education. I want them to overcome any obstacle by learning in a positive, healthy, and happy environment. They have the potential to become whatever they want to and we can get them there by instilling the love for learning at a young age.

My Project

If my project gets funded, it will allow my students to expand their creativity. They will be able to design pictures and fonts for their projects. We can collaboratively create shirts for field day and other class functions.

All of my students are able to expand their imagination in the most creative way, this will help bring out their vision into a product.

I will guide my students by looking up ideas and help them create shirts for the winter performance. They will design shirts to make and to wear on stage. The 100th day of school is another great way to show their creativity.

When designing the bulletin board, we can also collaboratively design a theme and be able to display their work by using the items from the funded project.
