My Students
My students are amazing. They have a love of learning and a love for each other. I would love to push them as far as they can go before they move on to kindergarten. Having them ready for kindergarten will give them a jump start to being a lifelong learner and someone who loves school.
My school is very diverse, and it is wonderful.
There are so many different cultures, values, and beliefs; it is incredible. I love spending time with the students, not just in my class, but the older kids as well. I learn a lot from them! Students, as well as teachers, look out for each other at school.
We are all team players and have each others' best interest at heart. I would love to be able to give my students everything they need to help them succeed inside and outside of the classroom. With these new materials, I can give them a better classroom and new experiences. We strive to become leaders in our building, and even though we are the youngest at our school, we are bright and determined to do our best possible work.
My Project
We have a nice collection of Magnetic Tiles in our classroom and I have seen these cars that go along with the tiles. The kids in my class would really enjoy the cars that they could use along with the tiles. The tiles are pretty much their number one favorite item in our class and the cars would really be fun! The Creepy Carrots book is another one of my kids favorite books and unfortunately our book has seen better days. It is very worn and a few pages are missing so I would like a new copy to replace the old one. While looking for the Creepy Carrots book I found a Creepy Pair of Underwear book, written and illustrated by the same people as Creepy Carrots anything with underwear is of course hilarious with 3-5 year olds. So I am confident this book will be a hit! We need some dixie cups in our room for when we have juice brought in and we have nothing to serve it in and I am scrabbling and asking other teachers if they have any cups. I would like a stash of cups that we can use as needed. I am looking toward August already (crazy I know!) but we will need All About Me posters so we can learn all about the new group of students that will start in August!
