Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The third graders in my class excel in art class. They love to draw, paint and color. They also love creating objects with play doh or clay. I would love for them to have the opportunity to get their creative juices flowing by supplying each student with play doh and provide them with tools so they can express themselves.
I think this engaging, artistic activity would motivate them to sculpt items about topics and subjects we have learned throughout the school year.
We learned about the countries of China and Nigeria. They can create multiplication arrays from math and explore science concepts. We have learned about forces and animal traits.
