Teaching in a diverse neighborhood, my students are faced with many challenges, inside and outside of school. As a teacher it is one of my jobs to help my students think of our classroom as a safe, comfortable and loving place where they can be themselves. I want them to be able to call it " home,” a place where they can be grow into young adults and feel comfortable while doing so! They are a group of students who want to need to feel the warmth of the classroom environment to be able to learn! They are creative, and thoughtful! They absolutely love hands-on, activities, and engaging projects, that allow them to utilize their own minds!
My Project
As a teacher, our job is to make our classroom, an environment that they feel comfortable in - An environment that the students are able to walk into and feel they can be themselves - With the help of a Circut, I will be able to provide that to my students in multiple ways- Whether, it be for the classroom (behavioral chart, homework chart, rules etc), or for a project that my students are creating- This amazing piece of technology will allow for my creative students design and develop their own projects and classroom decorations which will help to develop their creative thinking and problem solving skills.
