This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Real-world learning is very important in my fifth grade classroom. My goal is to help my fifth grade students run a photography business. This project will allow my students to take photos using various photography backdrops. My students will learn how to set up a background, organize their equipment, and take photos of each other to make wonderful memories in school.

My students will learn real-world experiences and understand the importance of running a successful business by developing a new skill.

My students will learn how to express their creativity and communicate their visions with others. My students will learn about financial literacy by developing goals about spending and saving and also by setting up a photography budget. My class will also use pretend money to make sales. These items in this project will make a huge difference in the future of the students in my class.
