This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With an Apple MacBook Pro, my students will be able to learn 21st-century skills like creativity, productivity, and connectivity that will prepare them for change. Creativity is one of the most sought after 21st-century skills by employers today. With the MacBook’s creative applications, my students can stretch their imaginations. GarageBand and iMovie are just two of the endlessly creative apps they will be able to use to help them become better communicators, problem-solvers and ‘out of the box’ creators. Pages, Keynote and Numbers will support my students with productivity. My students will easily be able to share projects wirelessly between Macs and through AirDrop or enjoy the files across multiple devices with the shared storage of iCloud.
After the pandemic I have realized there is a huge need to arm our students with 21st century skills and prepare them to be successful in the future.
The pandemic has taught us all that the world is changing all of the time, and quickly at that. I want my students to be ready for these changes and know what to do when they encounter them. With the Apple MacBook Pro I will be able to ignite my students’ creativity and help them learn the skills needed to be successful.
