The products I have selected will allow my students to explore their creativity in relevant and worthwhile ways.
I have noticed that fun learning activities that encourage students to flex their creative muscles can support more sustained focus in the classroom.
My group of students this year are very hands on learners and love doing projects where they can come up with their own ideas. I have selected many different art supplies that I know my students will enjoy. I also want to be able to challenge them each day while using the different math manipulatives. My students have also been learning how to 3D print. I have included a set of headphones for each of my students so that they are able to improve their curiosity of this new skill. Some of the materials I have selected also include prizes. I think it is important to value creativity and celebrate and reward it.
My goal for this project is to make my classroom a creative space by giving students the opportunity to think for themselves and solve problems. I will be able to teach them a vital skill that they will need to be successful in school and life.
