My Project

Bringing a 3D printer to the Douglas School STEM Club would give students hands-on access to real-world technology that supports creativity, problem-solving, and innovation. A 3D printer allows students to design, test, and build their own projects—from engineering models to art and prototypes—turning ideas into something tangible. Beyond STEM Club, all students at Douglas School could benefit from this resource across subjects like math, science, art, and even history. Learning to use modern technology like 3D printing not only sparks engagement, but also strengthens critical thinking and collaboration skills. Most importantly, it prepares students for future careers by building confidence and knowledge in tools used in today’s rapidly advancing world. Investing in a 3D printer empowers students to explore, create, and learn in deeper, more meaningful ways.
