Help me give my students new supplies to encourage their creativity this coming September! As we return for in-person learning after a very long time, the students will need to refocus their energy via creativity!
My students this year are Freshmen, who are extremely motivated. They love to use language in the classroom and have fun speaking French even outside of the classroom. We enjoy using Flipgrid and other online platforms for speaking practice.
These highly motivated students inspire me to give it all my all everyday.
Our class is very diverse and made up of students from the Caribbean, Europe, Canada and the United States. Being from the Caribbean myself, I encourage them to make the class a community where we respect and appreciate our differences. French is something new and different for them all and together we strive for excellence. We celebrate all our accomplishments everyday.
They love French and enjoy the class. I would like help this year in securing a new laminating machine to help us create colorful flashcards for their use in class. This will facilitate their speaking in Target Language. It would make them so happy and when they are happy and motivated, it makes the class ambiance so much more wonderful!
My Project
Upon returning to the classroom after almost two years, my students will need to refocus their energy on their school work. Using art and creativity in the classroom, this will allow them to successfully ease into this transition.
Emerging after so many months for in-person instruction will require differentiated instruction techniques, and art is a perfect medium for this.
Students will do self reflections with drawing and posters to display their research.
